Our Key Competency for this term is THINKING. This means the chilren will be learning to think and talk about their learning and ask questions to find out information. They will also be learning to use a range of sources to find information and a variety of tools to sort that information. Our Star Values for Term Three are 'Excellence' and 'Care of the Environment'. Chilrdren will be learning to present their work to a high standard, praising others for doing well and always trying their best in all that they do. Children will also be learning to be a tidy kiwi, take care of thier own belongings and be encouraged to put rubbish in the bin.
TERM 3 TOPICS:
. This term our main focus this term is a HEALTH unit - It will encourage us to keep ourselves healthy by making sensible food choices. We will be looking at the food pyramid and some of the changes that happen when we heat, cool and blend different foods. Later on in the term we will be making a healthy breakfast cereal and designing a container to put it in.
